Mastering the Road with Unmatched Performance

Recently, we highlighted the breathtaking design of the 2025 e-tron GT lineup. Now, it’s time to shift gears and explore the remarkable performance these models deliver on the road. These powerful and gorgeous cars are built to deliver an unforgettable driving experience.

Excellence Across All Variants

Audi has improved the braking energy recovery system in the e-tron GT models. Now, it can recover up to 400 kW of energy, slowing the car down by 0.45 g without using the brakes. They’ve also made the energy recovery during coasting more effective, doubling the previous levels. This means the car offers a better balance between sporty, one-pedal driving and smooth, efficient coasting.

Its battery pack is now 105 kWh, which is 12% more than the previous pack. But that's not all! It's also 25 pounds lighter. Plus, DC fast charging has improved from 270 kW to 320 kW, meaning you can charge from 10-80% in about 18 minutes instead of 21.5 (under ideal conditions). You may be wondering what this means for range. And guess what? That has also been improved! That's right, even with all this extra power, the 2025 S e-tron GT gets a better EPA-estimated range than the 2024 e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT. Pretty impressive, right?

The e-tron GT now has a new air suspension system that improves both ride comfort and handling. The new design makes the car smoother and more dynamic to drive. A new available active suspension helps keep the car stable during acceleration, braking, and on bumpy roads. It can also raise the car for easier entry and even lean into corners for better control and steering. Paired with all-wheel steering, the car now offers sharper and more precise handling.

S e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT

This exceptional entry-level S e-tron GT model has a horsepower of 670. The model's increase in power allows it to go from 0-60 in a short 3.3 seconds with launch control. The higher-tier RS variant offers 637 horsepower.

RS e-tron GT Performance

The performance version of the RS e-tron GT takes power to a whole new level, with an astounding horsepower of 912. This model is fast, accelerating from 0-60 in only 2.4 seconds when using launch control. Unsurprisingly, that means it's the fastest accelerating Audi ever in production. We can sure see why it's called the RS e-tron GT Performance.

A primary focus for the RS performance model was maximizing efficiency across all load ranges while ensuring consistent, repeatable performance to showcase its exceptional capabilities. Central to this achievement is an optimized thermal management system and the smart integration of four interconnected coolant circuits. These advancements are particularly crucial in RS performance mode—an exclusive feature of the top-tier model.

The improved output is also a result of the battery pack's updated cell chemistry. Its optimized nickel, cobalt, and manganese ratio, along with a gross capacity of 105 kWh (97 kWh net), help the  model deliver greater energy storage, faster charging, and higher driving currents compared to its predecessor. The maximum charging current has been upgraded to 400 amps, delivering faster and more efficient performance, while the system can unleash up to 1,100 amps for peak power with Launch Control activated.

Another standout feature of the performance model is the push-to-pass function. This system delivers a boost of 94 horsepower at speeds above 19 mph for up to ten seconds, with a timer displayed in the virtual cockpit to keep track. When the driver engages the push-to-pass function, the battery utilizes the same settings as Launch Control. Simultaneously, the drive components automatically switch to the dynamic mode in Audi drive select. After a minimum of ten seconds of regeneration, the function may be initiated again.

The Audi drive select system gives drivers control over the car’s performance with three standard modes: efficiency, comfort, and dynamic. On top of that, there are two customizable RS-specific modes, RS1 and RS2, where you can fine-tune settings like drive, suspension, ride height, and sound. You can quickly activate these modes using the satellite controls on the sporty flat-top-and-bottom steering wheel.

Masterpieces of Power and Precision

The 2025 Audi e-tron GT lineup is a true masterpiece, blending cutting-edge technology, jaw-dropping performance, and remarkable efficiency into a stunning design. There’s no denying that Audi has raised the bar for electric vehicles. With advancements across the board, Audi proves that performance and innovation can go hand in hand.
