Meet the Models
The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron and the SQ6 Sportback e-tron will be available in 2025. These models recently debuted, and we're so excited to talk about them.
This is yet another important milestone as Audi continues to gear toward electrification. Gernot Döllner, CEO of AUDI AG, said, "The Sportback variant is the next step in expanding our electric portfolio. The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron quattro combines the strengths of our new electric models – efficiency, range, and performance – with the evocative, functional design of its distinct body."
With this sportback variant, you don't have to choose between an SUV and a coupé. It offers the best of both worlds with its spacious interior and refined coupé style. It also has a high towing capacity of up to 4,400 lbs. The exciting new model is currently predicted to achieve an EPA-estimated range of around 300 miles.
The Q6 Sportback's Exterior
Naturally, the Q6 Sportback is striking from the outside. With its sloping roofline and elegantly flowing silhouette, it gives the impression of a drop of water. The Audi design team worked hard to create a revamped roof arch, blending the features of an SUV with those of the Sportback and adding to the overall appeal.
The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron showcases a dynamic and sophisticated design. Its greenhouse stretches lower over the robust body, creating a striking contrast between soft curves and sharp creases. A standout line sweeps from the rear over the taillights to the rear doors, emphasizing the pronounced quattro blisters and broad shoulders. The rear window features an upward bend, a hallmark of all Audi Sportbacks, enhancing the vehicle's forward momentum.
The model has a bold front with a closed three-dimensional Singleframe grille. Choose from a Selenite Silver or glossy black mask around the side air intakes. The high-set digital daytime running lights give it a standout look. At the back, it's sleek and sporty. The model takes notes from the e-tron GT. A continuous light strip and sleek and roomy rear design add a touch of elegance, which is classic Audi.
Inside the Audi Q6
The interior is just as beautiful as the exterior, with a strong attention to detail and focus on the driver's and passengers' needs. Materials, the Audi MMI panoramic display, and the MMI passenger display captivate the inside of the model. The high-contrast interior design strategically positions elements in the foreground and background, creating a three-dimensional spatial layout that harmonizes aesthetics with ergonomics, tailored specifically for its occupants.
Performance Highlights
Now that we've covered design, you're probably wondering, "How does the car drive?" Let's get into it! The Q6 Sportback e-tron quattro can reach a speed of up to 130 mph, while the max speed of the SQ6 Sportback e-tron is 143 mph. Each model comes standard with a 100kWh battery that powers two electric motors placed on the front and rear axles. Both models have AWD.
The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron is designed for an agile and dynamic drive, partly due to the partial redevelopment of suspension systems for the Q6 series. The new axle setup improves handling and steering, making the car more responsive. Its rear-biased all-wheel drive enhances driving dynamics by efficiently distributing power. The Frequency Selective Damping system adapts for a smoother ride, while the adaptive air suspension keeps the car stable, even when carrying heavy loads.
Excellence Electrified
Introducing the Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron and SQ6 Sportback e-tron marks another significant step forward in Audi's electrification journey. With their compelling combination of innovative design, impressive performance, and cutting-edge technology, these models promise to deliver an exceptional driving experience. From the striking exterior aesthetics to the meticulously designed interiors and dynamic driving capabilities, these vehicles exemplify Audi's commitment to excellence.
