Here’s What You Should Know
The snow is starting to melt, and summer is right around the corner. That also means the release of the 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron is almost here! Let’s look at what we can expect from the new vehicle.
The Q8 e-tron models were revealed in Europe this past November. More recently, the pricing has been released. Pricing for the new e-tron will start at $74,400, with the Sportback variant starting at $77,800.
This model year, the battery strength got even better on the Q8 e-tron; this time, it’s fitted with a 106kWh battery. When equipped with the ultra package, the Sportback has an EPA-estimated range of 300 miles, 30 percent higher than the 2023 model, while the base model provides a range of 285 miles. The ultra package also helps the Q8 e-tron Sportback accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds! As you can see, Audi has taken these already great cars up a few notches. Charging speed has also improved; the 2024 model can go from 10 to 80 percent in around 31 minutes. The 2024 Q8 e-tron even includes two years of D.C. fast charging!
Drag has been effectively reduced with the latest iteration of the Q8 e-tron, thanks to a more aerodynamic design, particularly of the wheels. For example, Audi has enlarged the spoilers in front of the front axle on the Sportback and the SUV. The Sportback has also received new rear spoilers. These changes have helped reduce drag, which in turn, has improved efficiency and range.
Plenty of excellent standard features are included in the model, such as a Plug & Charge function, heated and powered front seats, and an adaptive air suspension system. The Premium Plus trim will take your ride to the next level with a Bang & Olufsen sound system. The Prestige version amps things up even further with a massage function, perfect for those who appreciate enhanced comfort and luxury. Finally, the highest trim level is the Launch Edition, which wows drivers with 21-inch wheels and edition-specific interior detailing. These trims give our drivers an excellent experience, but the choice is up to you!
